Not only does this exercise work on midfielder’s tactical play and speed, but mostly important the players touch the ball. ⚽️???????????? Tactical Benefit: Game Situation - Triangular Movement, continuous thinking (keep track of phases) Physical Benefit: Attacking the ball at game speed, constant change of direction. Technical Benefit: Set 1 is 12, Set 2 is 15 various touches that are essential/quality for every position of play. Exercise can be repeated for more essential/quality touches on the ball. Remaining composed on the ball in game speed. ⚽️???????????? Each phase requires 3 consistent touches (yellow cone, blue cone, and red cone). Return to starting cone between each touch. Complete each phase of the set in a row without breaks. ⚽️???????????? Set 1 - Air balls Phase 1: 1 touch headers Phase 2: 2 touches chest control + pass Phase 3: 2 touches thigh control + pass Phase 4: 1 touch pass back ⚽️???????????? Set 2 - Ground balls Phase 1: favorite skill move + pass Phase 2: 2 touches control outside foot + pass Phase 3: 2 touches control inside foot + pass Phase 4: 2 touches control sole of foot + pass Phase 5: 1 touch pass back ⚽️???????????? Not only this is exercise key to developing the complete soccer player, but also a great bonding method fir parents or siblings as a partner serving the ball to the player is required. ⚽️???????????? (Player who have not turned 12 years old should not head the ball, skip set 1 phase 1 & start at set 1 phase 2.)
