We could not be happier to welcome him as the West Texas Division Manager. Manager."

Ruiz will focus on developing the UPSL's tier structure in West Texas and New Mexico.

"By establishing the UPSL West Texas Division, we want to provide a platform for competitive and professionally-run soccer clubs. West Texas is a hotbed of talent that is often times overlooked because of its distance from major cities. Our goal is to create a division which can showcase this talent by giving them the ability to play highly-competitive games without having to drive a long distance," Ruiz said.

Ruiz also serves as Director of FPS FC's youth club.

"Many of our young, talented players have progressed to higher levels of competitive soccer beyond high school, club soccer and even the university level. Establishing FPS FC in 2019 in the UPSL was a critical component to providing a complete platform for youth development and competitive soccer year-round for our local talent," Ruiz said.
