GUILHERME CERETTA SCORES FREE KICK, CAPTAIN'S TEAM TO FIRST WIN

ISA WINS FIRST UPSL SANCTIONED GAME

Sunday August 26th of 2018, International Soccer Association competed in it's inaugural UPSL sanctioned game. The game was played at South County Regional Park in West Boca Raton, a venue that is nicknamed The Factory for the club's commitment to and history of producing college and professional players. International Soccer Association won the match 6-0 against West Park FC.

 


The team was captained by Guilherme Ceretta, who played the full game as a central defender and captain. In the 23rd minute of play ISA was awarded a free kick after winger Djamsle Milord was fouled as he was penetrating the penalty area. Guilherme Ceretta left the line of defense to claim the free kick, bending the ball passed the wall and out of the goalkeeper's reach.

In addition to leading the team as captain, Ceretta is also a coach in ISA youth affiliate, Boca Raton Juniors Soccer Club. Head Coach of ISA, Anthony Olischar commented about Ceretta's game. "I am delighted that our youth players got to see to his goal, discipline and overall performance. Their coach scored, bringing relevance and respect to what is said on the training ground."
